It's that time of year! Time for the Fall Calling it Home, One Room Challenge 2015. If you haven't ever heard of this you DEFINITELY need to check it out and follow along. Just click on that link above. :) It is so fun and full of SO much inspiration. You really don't want to miss it. I've never participated before but I have always dreamed of doing it. So this year I decided to be brave, and participate as a guest and link up on Thursdays, the day after the official participants, the design bloggers.
So I have six weeks starting today... please cross your fingers for me!
I'm going to have to really sit down and get a master plan going so that I might be able to stick to a schedule amidst all of the mommying, and I honestly don't have a budget. And I mean that in a NO $$$, not unlimited amounts of money, kind of way. I will hopefully be able to sweet talk the money maker though into maybe throwing a few dollars my way. Otherwise this is going to get interesting. Seriously though, I really want to do this, I've been planning on finishing this room for almost 2 years now, so yeah, its time.
And if I have to use what I've got, or can find on trash day than so be it.
So here is a little info about the room I chose to finish. It's my baby girl's nursery.
This dresser is also in the room, it is on the wall opposite the window in the above picture. And I love it! It is definitely staying in the room, despite my husbands little hints saying it should really be in our room... well I guess we'll see at the end of the 6 weeks what happens
But since my daughter isn't a baby anymore (how does this happen so fast?!!!) now the room looks like this. And you guys this is REALLY how it looks. I'm apologizing for the mess, but you can see how this room really does need some help.
A lot of things have just been "put" in the room. I thought, "I'll just set it here and figure it out later", well "later" hasn't happened yet. Also, unfortunately her room has become a little bit of a storage half-way house. Notice the baby carrier behind the door, it will be going up into the attic soon.
So excited you are joining in the One Room Challenge madness Suzanne! Can't wait to see what happens in your space! :)
